Students boycott union bar after 25% price increase

Students at Cavendish campus have begun an official boycott of their Union, Inter:mission, after a 25 per cent increase in the price of drinks. 

Alcohol at the student union has seen beer prices hitting the £3 mark, forcing punters to look to other premises in search of cheaper drinks. Customer's are now using the Metropolitan bar, part of the Weatherspoon's chain, after lectures due to the significantly cheaper prices and daily promotions.
